Our Fighter Verse helps us to focus on the character and greatness of God. We all have moments of personal challenge and spiritual frailty. When the words of Scripture are buried in your heart, the Holy Spirit brings them to mind at just the right time to encourage your resolve against the temptations of our sinful selves. The opposite is also true: celebration and joy becomes all the more real because scripture reveals a God who delights in his children and who gives grounding to every hope that we have. Memorize these scriptures for your own life and joy!
